I’ve posted this pic before but for the favourite picture challenge this may always be my favourite. it’s from Zoeys 3 week anniversary of her gotcha day and it was the first time she looked at me with this pure love, gratitude, and trust. we enjoyed our own yogurt parfaits, I used crumbled dog treats for the granola in hers, along with frozen blueberries 🫐. it was then I knew she’d accepted me fully as hers.
